Please be sure to read through this email about our first field trip!
Our Eckert's field trip is planned for:
Wednesday, September 21st,
9:00AM-3:00PM
*Please note this is an ALL DAY Field Trip! We will not be dismissing at 11:50 that day. Your child will be dismissing with the rest of the school at 3:30.
(a transportation form will be coming soon).
We always need a lot of parent help on this field trip. We break up into small groups to better enjoy the apple festivities. THIS YEAR, EVERY PARENT THAT ATTENDS OUR FIELD TRIP MUST COMPLETE A BACKGROUND CHECK. Please fill out the following form and return to school with your child's permission slip. I was informed today that all background check forms need to be returned by WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 31st. I'm sorry for the last minute notice. If you feel that you would like to attend, but aren't sure, please fill out a Background check and turn it in. You can send the field trip form later this week if you need to.
Lunch:Your child will need to pack a disposable sack lunch and 2 disposable drinks. Please make at least one of these a water bottle. (there are no drinking fountains available.) Label your child's sack lunch and disposable drinks with their name. I will bring a cooler that we can keep the drinks in.
Also, please make sure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather.
*Please note: this is our most expensive field trip. This is due to the distance and the cost of Eckert's admission fee and apples that the children get to take home. This is always a very memorable event, but it takes a lot of organization and help from parents. I am looking forward to some apple picking with these kiddos!
