Hello!

Thursday is Dr. Seuss' birthday!  With fabulous stories like Cat and the Hat or Oh the Places You'll Go!  We are learning so much this year, so much that we know! 

We can be silly in so many ways, 

We will celebrate by having some fun & wacky dress days: 

Tuesday is Green Eggs and Ham Day - wear green

Wednesday is Wacky Wednesday - wacky dress and hair (backwards shirts or inside out)

Thursday is Fox in Socks day - wear crazy socks

Grace did a wonderful job as our STAR of the Week!

Vowel of the Week:

We have talked about all 5 of the vowels.  We will be reviewing them and assessing the long and short sounds that they make. 

Teacher Notes: 

Picture Day: Spring Picture Day is this Friday, March 3rd.  All students will get there full length picture shot and proofs will be sent home.  You can chose to order photos or not.  

Assessment: We will be working on assessment this week.  The last day of the quarter will be on Friday, 3/10. 

Parent/Teacher conferences will be held on Thursday, March 16th.  There is only one evening scheduled for conferences because the spring conferences are not intended for all students.  These conferences are by invitation or parent request.  Please note that you do not need to wait until this date to address a concern or ask questions :)  More will be coming soon. 

Mom Prom is on Friday, 3/10.  Please return the form if you are able to attend.  Glow necklaces will be on sale $1.
