Week of 4/23

Thank you to our SPTG and Sappington's Dad's club for putting on a great Spring Carnival!  It was an awesome opportunity to experience the "community of Sappington" once again this year. 

*Don't forget to send in your child's library book!  Library is Tuesday.

HOMEWORK: due Thursday.  This is the last week for HW.  I will not have homework for the month of May.  You can keep up the routine of practicing sight words and reading nightly, but I am not asking that you fill anything out.

Teacher Notes: 

Principals Day: Tuesday, May 1st.  We are lucky to have 2 principals this year.  No need for expensive gifts, but a kind note or email from your family with a positive message would certainly be refreshing. 

Grandparents Day:  Friday, April 27th!!!  Thank you for all returning the packet & information.  Transportation: I will verify this with you as the day gets closer. Please let me know if there will be a change ASAP. Please inform the grandparents if they WILL or WILL NOT be bringing your child home.  There is often a lot of confusion with this at the end of our program.  

  

ATTIRE: Your child can dress as they might for picture day.  We want them to look nice and be a wonderful host/hostess for their grandparent.  We will have PE and lunch recess before our grandparents arrive that day, so please take that into consideration. 

Food: We will not be serving any food during our Grandparent's Day, but we will have a small water bottle available for grandparents.  

Shuttle:  Parking can be tight on campus.  A shuttle will be provided.  It will drop grandparents off right at the main doors.
