week of 10/28

What a beautiful fall weekend! Look out for colder temperatures this week. As we see more coats & jackets coming into school, it always helps if you can write your last name on the tag so if it gets left in the bathroom, etc. it will get returned quicker.

NO School Friday (teacher PD meetings)

Wednesday is LIBRARY.

SeeSaw: We use this tool to give you a closer look into the classroom. This site will send you notifications when your child has posted something on their SeeSaw account. You will only see your child's posts. You can also leave comments. Click on the link below and sign up with your child. https://app.seesaw.me/s/596-569-437

3rd Grade Buddies: We will be meeting with our 3rd grade buddies on Thursday morning.  This is such a cool relationship between older students and our kindergarten friends.  We will be reading and discussing Spookily the Square pumpkin and finding what things we have in common.

Fall Parade & Party Information-October 31

  • Parade will begin at 1:15
  • Class Party 1:45-2:45
  • If you are assisting with the class party, you will be permitted to go to the classrooms at 1:00. Feel free to bring party items the day before.

    • Treat bags are not allowed unless they are comprised of non-food items
    • As has been in the past, no homemade food is allowed, per Dept of Health

    • If you are a food allergy room, you MUST e-mail both the classroom teacher and school nurse (LBarrett@lindberghschools.ws) with what you plan on bringing for the party. You must also include the ingredient labels. If you have any questions, please contact LeeAnn Barret at LBarrett@lindberghschools.ws
  • Adhere to the Fall Parade Costume Guidelines

Fall Parade Costume Reminders

Make sure your child's costume follows all guidelines for our parade and party. Send their costume in their backpack or a separate bag. Please do not send your child to school dressed in their costume.  We will change into their costume before the parade.  It's a good idea to label the costume items with your child's name.

Newsletter attached.

Have a great week!
