Veteran's Day Celebration: Friday, November 9th
Thank you to all of our Veterans and their families who have made sacrifices and continue to make sacrifices to keep us all safe.  It is an honor to be able to recognize these brave men and women and their families this week.  
On Friday, our school will honor Veterans with a breakfast (8:30-9:00) and a patriotic ceremony (9:00) in the gym.  ALL STUDENTS: Please wear red, white and blue in honor of Veteran's Day.  If your child returned the RSVP, we look forward to meeting their veteran on Friday!

* Wednesday is Early Release Day!!!   AM attends 8:45-10:50 am and PM attends 11:30-1:40pm.  Please let me know if there are any changes in transportation ASAP.  Thank you! 

*Library is Tuesday!  Please return all library books in order for your child to check out a new one. 

*November Homework went home today.

This is week 10, we have one more week for List 1 sight words.  We will begin "Round 2" the week of 11/26th.   

(Round 2: 
We will have List 1 (the 33 words we just completed) and List 2 (30 new words that are high frequency words).  Students will be expected to read and/or write sight words based on their Reading Readiness.  This may be subject to change, as your child's word knowledge develops over the next 11 weeks.)

Thanksgiving Gathering: Tuesday, November 20th.  Please send in a plain white, t-shirt marked with your child's name by Monday, November 12th.

Gathering Donations: Here is the  Thanksgiving Gathering Sign up . Thank you for your donations.  

Parent Volunteers: I am in need of an adult that can cut yarn for our Native American necklaces and wrap one end with masking tape (can be done at home), an adult that can dye noodles (our beads) and an adult for the AM and one for the PM that can pull students to have them do a hand painting project (needs to come into the classroom).  Please let me know if you can help with either of these projects. Thanks!
