Grandparent's Day Agenda: Thursday, May 11th from 9:30-11:15 am
9:30 Arrive at Sappington via shuttle (Concord Trinity United Methodist Church-5275 South Lindbergh)
9:35 Check in, sign name and take a name tag with your Grandchild's picture on it. Proceed to the gym (2nd floor-via main staircase or the elevator).

10:20-11:10 Classroom Activities: Calendar, songs, place mat, photo, snack, tic-tac- toe, book to share
11:15 Dismissal
What to wear: Students may wear something that they would normally wear for Picture Day: Dressing it up a little bit, but doesn't need to be extravagant. There will be a western theme to the songs that they sing in the gym. ALL students will be given a bandana to wear for this performance. If you would like to have your child wear a plaid shirt, jeans, cowboy boots, western dress, you are welcome. NO COWBOY hats please!
Dismissal: Please see the attached dismissal form to make sure I know how your child is dismissing on Thursday. Let me know ASAP if there are any changes.
Photographer: I am in need of a parent that would be willing to take posed pictures of the grandparents and their grandchild between 10:15-11:15. You would need to bring your own camera. It doesn't have to be an amazing camera, but preferably better than a smart phone. If you are available or interested, please let me know. Thank you!

Sight Words: Due to flood days, we will not have another weekly sight word test for the last week. We will have an end of the quarter assessment, both read and written, on all of List 1 and all of List 2. I will also ask them to write a sentence including Capital, spaces, punctuation and spelling sight words.
We have MANY events coming up in May. Please be looking for information coming home on: Teddy Bear Week and Picnic with our Buddies, Field Trip to Suson Park with our Buddies, Field Day, Fly Up/Over Day, Half-day Cafeteria practice 4th quarter Assessment and more!
