Intake Conferences: I look forward to seeing the other half of you on Thursday night. I've included the schedule that you signed up for. Please let me know in advance if there is a problem and we will work to find something that can happen. Don't forget to come with strengths and weaknesses of your child and goals that you have for them this year. Looking forward to it!
Grant's Farm Night
SPTG would like to invite you to join us in celebrating a new school year with Sappington Night at Grant's Farm on Thursday, September 20 from 5:00-8:30. This is a private event for Sappington Families Only! Parking for this event will be $13 and must be purchased in advance. On sight payment for this event is not available. You will need a pass for entrance (even if walking) as this event is only open for Sappington families. Parking/walking passes will be sent home the week of September 18. Fun passes are also available for preorder for $6 and will not be available for purchase at the event. Please see the attached flier for details. Do not forget to wear grade your level color. We are excited to spend the evening with our Sappington Families! Checks for Grants Farm parking and fun passes can be made out to SPTG. Due September 10th.

Classroom Party Fee
You can now send in your child's class party fee. In order to make the classroom party experience for each classroom more equitable, SPTG has decided to collect a party fee of $5-7/child. The money will be divided evenly between every classroom for each party. Classroom teachers will use funds from the party fee to purchase party snacks. This will ensure snacks have met our district food policy guidelines and are "nurse approved." Additional funds can support paper products, games, crafts, etc if needed. We would like to collect all funds by September 27, 2018.

Teacher Notes:
Birthdays: I just wanted to give a reminder to all about the Lindbergh Schools food policy. Students can no longer bring in food to celebrate. If they chose to bring something in, here are some ideas for your child's special day: bring in their favorite book (a book that can be read to the class in 10 minutes or less), small trinket for each student, pencils, glow sticks, stickers, etc. If you have any questions about birthdays, please let me know.
